Just a reminder...two nylon set screws will be used to hold each gimbal into place without damaging the aluminum rods. You can tighten them enough where the gimbals won't really move or you can leave them alittle looser to allow some pivoting....which is what I do. Either way, you're going to want to use some super glue or lock-tight to hold the threaded end of the rod into the top of the gimbal.
And, again, there will be two metal set screws which will grip the metal headband insert. You should be able to exert a lot of force onto those set screws to make sure they don't budge with reasonable use.
