- Tier 2/3 Cocobolo. Very nice figuring.
- Magnum V2.5 drivers and Magnum Air Chamber.
- My new Aluminum Gimbals.
- Five foot OCC Copper, Bronze color cable with Pailiccs 1/4"
- Stock leather headband. Actually one of the nicest copies I've ever seen. No fraying, perfect stitching.
What's neat about these is that the Magnum Air Chambers are longer than the typical plastic Grado air chamber that surrounds the driver. However, I didn't know this and I had built the slip-on cups to the same interior dimensions as a stock Grado slip-on. So a larger part of the Magnum Air Chamber is exposed. Additionally, I've effectively added about a 1/3 more length to the air chamber, the last third before the sound exiting the screen, being wood surface. So, we've got an extended chamber for good bass response. Also, what's quite cool is that you get that long chamber sound without the long chamber look. You get what I'm saying? Instead of looking like a complete weirdo with your super long chambered headphones, these look pretty normal as they don't stick that far out from your head, due to the positioning of the gimbal holes in the cups.
If you have sensitive eyes, you may want to avert them. These may blow your mind right out of your skull.
